Revenge is mine

Hello all and welcome to my blog. Let me start out by telling you how incredibly hard it was to get this thing going. My computer illiteracy really hindered me in the process, but low and behold here we are.

Ok first thing's first: why Revenge is Mine? I promise I'm not looking for vengeance against some unseen enemy. It actually has to do with how my husband and I met. Yes, I will be sharing the story now.
It was November of 2011 and Ky was still in his "awkward return missionary" stage since he had only been back about two months. Well we both attended FHE that night and the activity happened to be "human chess". Let me preface it by saying I wasn't too keen on the idea of going to FHE that night, but was dragged there by my wonderful sister Alex. Back to the story... Alex was selected to be a knight, and the quiet RM (SPOILER ALERT: who would later become my husband) and I were pawns. It was mine and Alex's team against the RM's team. The game was obviously riveting and exciting, so much so that Alex killed off RM within the first ten moves or so. I didn't really notice the ruthless murder since I had no relation to RM so the game progressed. Well not too much later I was killed off as well and I took my leave of shame from the chess board.
There comes a time in a girl's life when she has to make a hard decision: sit next to a loud mouth RM that was quickly earning himself the reputation of "ladies man", mind you not in a good way OR sit next to the quiet RM whose name I didn't even know. The decision was obviously difficult; so difficult that within a few seconds I had made my way over to the quiet RM.
We sat in silence for the better part of a few minutes until that pivotal moment in history; when RM could regain some shred of the dignity he had lost... Alex got MURDERED. Now is the revenge part making a bit more sense? In less than thirty seconds my life was changed forever as I heard a shy boy next to me murmur "revenge is mine...".
That my friends, is the overwhelmingly romantic story of how we became Mr. and Mrs.
